ARTIST
–
The artist in me loves to dream the unthinkable, complex, and extraordinary. I recognize the beauty in the grotesque and mundane, documenting the spectacular things that the world has to offer. My practice focuses heavily on research and from there, my imagination starts to run wild. I am passionate about the cultural heritage, especially learning about my own and connecting it with different aspects of other cultures. I celebrate the traditions, stories and visual representations of each culture I encounter, using it as an inspiration for my body of work.

DESIGNER
–
The designer in me respects the art of problem solving, simplifying the chaos created by my artistic side. I enjoy creating three-dimensional forms in the digital and physical realm, approaching each piece analytically. By analyzing each element that goes into a piece, I am able to incorporate compositional balance, while ensuring its structural integrity. In contrast, some of my distinctive work have been the result of happy accidents, which makes for a great story!

STORYTELLER
–
The storyteller in me is passionate about this beautiful form of sharing, expression stories I have uncovered. This art form has allowed me to discover and understand the history of my family, people and cultural heritage. I present pieces, research and ideas through storytelling, because I believe it helps build context and enables me to share my personal journey with others.
